At SG GSC, we currently have the following open positions for which you can "Refer-a-Pal".

Strong working experience on Core Java and J2EE and should be able to independently contribute towards technical designing for Java/JEE applications
Strong fundamental knowledge in Core Programming, JDBC and Object Oriented design and Oracle, PLSQL
Minimum of 6 months of working experience in Spring, Hibernate, Struts and some AJAX framework
Should be able to understand the business requirements as per the specifications and should implement the same
Should possess clear understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and should be process oriented
Experience in creating & executing unit tests using test driven approach with JUnit etc., and should be able to work on latest technology with good analytical skills and should posses quick at grasping power
Should be able to write unit tests (JUnits) for the code written, ant/maven scripts and code depending on the needs

Experience: 3+ years

Strong working experience in Core Java and J2EE technologies and should be able to independently contribute towards technical designing of Java/JEE applications
Strong fundamentals knowledge in Core Programming, JDBC, Object Oriented Design & design patterns
Should have minimum of 2 years of working experience in Spring, Hibernate, Struts and AJAX frameworks
Should be process oriented and should have good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
Good knowledge in configuring, setting up the applications on the application server
Should possess knowledge on Oracle, PLSQL
Experience in creating & executing unit test cases using test driven approach with JUnit etc.
Keen to work on latest technologies
Should have good analytical skills and ability to grasp quickly
Should possess good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working in an onsite-offshore model would be an added advantage

Experience: 5+ years

Should possess demonstrated & proven experience in following areas:
- Designing enterprise applications
- Architecture application
- Framework design
- High level and low level design using UML & Design Patterns
- Open-source tools, Continuous Integration, automated testing, Agile methodology
- Developing reusable software components based on the design specifications
- Preparing, conducting & leading code reviews
- Creating & enhancing and executing unit tests using test driven approach with JUnit, software factory( Maven, Hudson), etc.
Ability to quickly understand functional context and possess strong fundamental knowledge in Core Programming in Java, Object Oriented Design and Database Design
Good working experience in Java, Springs, Hibernate and Oracle with 1 to 2 years as a Module Lead
Should be process oriented and should have good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and have good understanding of the maintenance phase of a project and willing to interact with the clients pleasantly
Should have exposure to performance tuning, logging, monitoring, scalability, design by interfaces, caching with keenness to work on new technologies
Should possess functional knowledge of applications to provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and resolving moderately complex development problems
Should be capable of working with clients to establish and maintain a consistent development methodology and should posses ability to work closely in a team
Should have worked on at least one project with minimum 8 months period with exposure to Investment Banking (would be an added advantage)

Experience: 5 to 6 years
