Assist in evaluating alternative protocols, tools, standards and systems investments. Able to provide training and assistance on full range of technical issues to lower level staff on a project team. Acquiring domain knowledge and aim to be an SME in specific functional component. Able to carry out human resources administration activities such as interviewing job applicants, providing input to performance evaluations, etc. Able to act as "in charge" project leader for smaller projects or in temporary absence of project leader / manager. Works independently on most aspects of work. Receives general direction with occasional work review on other aspects. Should be able to lead a team of 5-8 members. Qualifications : B.Tech./MCA/Graduation (Minimum 15 years of formal education, Correspondence courses are not relevant). 6~7 years of total experience. Should have played the role of a technical mentor in his career. Should posses sound knowledge of SDLC processes. Should have executed the complete SDLC of atleast one reporting project using Cognos, Business Object. Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills Proficient in Cognos Proficient in SQL server and Oracle. Good knowledge of SQL/DB optimization. Good understanding of data warehousing concepts Proficient in execution of Unit Testing (Plan, Prepare & Execute). Strong knowledge of development & operational maintenance environments.
